Your Cervello Journey

We get it. The process of working with a financial planner can feel complicated. At Cervello Financial Planning we’ve tried our best to keep it really simple.

Step 1
Your Initial Meeting

First we meet with you to understand what you’re aiming to achieve. This includes your hopes, dreams, desires and loads of practical information including details of assets and liabilities. This conversation (which we call ‘discovery’) is all about us finding out about you but will also allow us to think about how we can work together.

Step 2
Your Discovery Document

Secondly we’ll take this information away and write up your ‘discovery document’ – This will make sure that we’re really understood what you’ve told us, and allow us to ensure that we’ve properly understood what you’re aiming to achieve.

Step 3
The Scope Meeting

Then we meet again, so that both you and I can decide whether we can work together. This is where we talk through the scope of work we’re going to help you with, which is why this meeting is called the scope meeting.

Step 4
The Research Process

If we both decide that working in partnership is right, we’ll start the research process. This will involve us building plans, doing research, looking at ‘what if’ scenarios and making sure we understand every aspect before coming back to you with a clear plan.

Step 5
Your Advice Meeting
Each and every one of our customers receives personalised assistance from our dedicated support team.

Step 6
Our Ongoing Service

However, it’s important to provide an ongoing service. Plans change, and we’re around to support our clients on an ongoing basis with whatever you need to achieve your plan.

Often, I don’t think we do a particularly good job as financial planners to help you understand the process. That’s why I thought it would be useful to break down how it actually looks to work with a firm like Cervello. Stone by Stone. Getting to financial clarity one small step at a time.
