At AE in a Box we’re always looking to improve.

We’re massively proud of AE in a Box and know that you like it too, evident by the hundreds of partners using the platform to help and support employers, however, we’re always looking at the most effective ways to continue to make our solution as best as it can be.

The way we do this is simple. We’re continuously asking for and receiving feedback from you, our partners, introducers and employer users on how best to improve the service.

Thanks to your valuable input we’ve been able to make some serious improvements to the platform and we wanted to take some time to share these improvements with you.

The Certification Calculator

We were told that our old certification calculator was tough to understand and we’ve been working hard to make the certification calculator on AE in a Box easier to use, more functional and with more explanations on how to use the system to make a decision on how to calculate pension contributions.

The new certification calculator is now live and provides a far more simple straightforward route to working out the best level of pension contribution for you and your clients businesses.

You’ll find the graph simpler to use, you’ll see the ‘contribution’ figures are now below the table and you’ll also notice a bunch of info buttons so employers understand what they need to do every step of the way.

When it comes to adding information buttons we didn’t stop at the certification calculator.

The Information buttons

AE in a Box is built to be easy to use and easy to navigate and it just got easer.  Since the recent update you’ll find loads of little blue (i) button peppered all over the site.

These buttons provide simple, straightforward support on a range of AE in a Box services including our pensions selection tool, our task management system and, specifically for our partners, loads of (i) buttons to provide additional support on how to use AE in a Box with their employer clients.

Pension Selection justification

Our job on AE in a Box is to ensure that we provide employers with a robust tool to help employers comply.

One of the suggestions we received from one of our partners a few weeks ago, is that it would be really useful to include a ‘reasons why’ box so that employers could tell us why they’d selected the pension they’ve chosen.

It’s a simple addition but one that allows employers to track why they’ve selected the right pension for their business as well as providing external validation if the regulator ever wanted to confirm the reasons behind their decision.

We believe these improvements will continue to make the employers journey easier to use AE in a Box and therefore comply with their automatic enrolment obligations.  We’re always looking for new ways to continue to make AE in a Box more useful, more functional and more easy to use so feel free to get in touch to tell us about what you’d like us to improve.
