As self confessed auto enrolment ‘geeks’ we work hard to ensure we understand not only what’s going on in our businesses but also in the businesses of our AE in a Box partners but also for the hundreds of thousands of employers who are due to comply over the coming months and the many more who need to comply in 2017 & 2018.

One of the things which became obvious is that there are still many employers who still don’t fully understand their requirements under the automatic enrolment rules, the implications if they get it wrong and the time it takes to get stuff done in order to comply.

However much of the information we had was based on stories we’d heard from our partner businesses, or conversations with employers, or stories we’d heard from others in the automatic enrolment market.

What we wanted to do is to understand the potential scope and scale of this situation…

So we did some research. Research which asked a fundamental question…
