Cervello and the Ware Festival of Running

The Ware Festival of Running, https://www.ware10s.co.uk/, is part of Ware’s annual summer festival that runs throughout July. It is a fundraising event organised by the hard-working members of Ware Joggers and this year all profits are going to be split between three local charities, The Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, Space in Herts and Guideposts Trust. Last year they raised £8,000 and hopefully we can beat that in 2019.

I have run the event, and eaten the amazing cakes at the finish, on numerous occasions and my children have enjoyed the kid’s races, so I am extremely proud that Cervello can this year be a sponsor of this wonderful community event and do a little bit towards its continuing success.

The event is on Sunday 7th July with the children’s races starting at 9am, registration is open from 8am. The children’s races are great fun and so well organised and there is something for all ages, you can register them for FREE here http://www.ware10s.co.uk/kids and a medal is guaranteed!

The adults have a choice of a 10mile or a 10km run – can you guess which one I will be doing? If you are feeling energetic and want to get involved you can enter here http://www.ware10s.co.uk/info the course is very picturesque and mainly out in the countryside – which is always nice when you are gasping for breath!

We are hoping that all the team members from Cervello will be coming along on the day to support the event – a couple of us will be running, Chris and myself, and the rest are just coming to bring home baked cakes, eat other peoples home baked cakes and drink tea whilst laughing at Chris & I sweating our way around the sun drenched course – YES sun is guaranteed for this day, put it in your diary!!

Hopefully we will see you there also supporting the event and hopefully earning your cake with a little run beforehand.
