A christmas blog about the good we do…

I spent an hour last week on a call with an existing client. She’d received a call about ‘land investments’ and wondered whether it was worth considering but had already in her own head decided to ‘invest’…

I wanted to talk her out of it.

The reason? It was a blatant scam. Promises they couldn’t keep. Expecting a decision to invest within unrealistic timescales. An investment with no proper spread of assets.

We’re proud to be a family business where we take the advice, we give to our clients personally.

It’s a big responsibility but also an honour for us to be the custodians of our client’s life savings. Savings which can and should be used to help our clients live the life they’ve worked hard to live

It’s also an honour and responsibility we take super seriously.

Yesterday I got the email. She wasn’t going to invest in this blatant scam.

Working with a financial planner isn’t just about investing our clients money. It’s about building you a financial plan to support the life you want to lead. It’s about helping our clients achieve their financial goals. It’s about making sure that our clients have a sounding board so that they can avoid making potentially expensive financial mistakes…and helping keeping our clients informed of the latest sophisticated ways scammers want to try to get hold of our clients hard earned money.

Working with a financial planner also isn’t for everyone.

However if you want someone to be a sounding board, a trusted adviser, a critical friend and someone who helps you clarify and make the link between the money you have and the life you want to lead….working with a good quality financial planner might be worth considering.
