Whilst 2020 has been a year of change…

2021 will be a year of change too.

It’s an easy prediction to make as every year involves some element of change but let me be really clear…

2021 will (probably) involve some fundamental changes in the amount of Tax you pay.

You see just before I wrote this article I’ve been reading about Rishi Sunaks plans for Tax hikes in 2021 and it looks like to pay for the governmental costs of COVID 19…

The amount of Tax we pay, particularly on Capital Gains, is likely to increase.

The good news is…

With a clear financial plan and a good financial planner, we will be focussed on ensuring this impacts you as little as possible.

As you know I don’t make promises I can’t keep…which is why I’m not promising theses changes won’t impact you at all but through the work we do together you’ll be kept informed with us working in partnership making sure you make the right moves at every step.

That’s why in 2021 we’ll be running a series of webinars.

These webinars will be highlighting any changes either economically or in the world of tax, and the planning options we should consider when thinking about these issues.

Whilst it looks like Capital Gains Tax is going to be the big change I’m also going to be running webinars on understanding the impact of longer term care costs, and the “big one” many of you should certainly be thinking about…

Inheritance Tax
