The holidays can be a really important time of year for many people. For the Daems family, Christmas is the time that people gather the most, with Christmas dinners being a great way to get the family round a table together. It is not an underestimation to say that there is a great amount of Christmas spirit within the Daems household. 

Every year, our family is often amongst the first to have their trees up and decorated. With three of the family birthdays falling within this season, the bright lights and festive decorations bring a certain level of extra spirit to each celebration. While birthday decorations are also put up, the tree and twinkling lights and the sentimental ornaments give it some little spark of something extra to each occasion. 

This year, we will be spending Christmas at home. This means an early morning in cozy PJs spent with the dog wondering why the kids are sitting on the floor. Some Christmas music in the background as we all swap the gifts we got for each other. Really, Christmas is about spending time with the family.
