Noise, Minefields and the significance of the auto enrolment “third way”
Every time I put fingers to keyboard, either for this blog, a comment for the press, or an article on another site, I’m conscious of avoiding doing one thing…
Adding to the unnecessary noise.
I read so much which does just that.
It doesn’t add value to an argument, debate or provide a fresh perspective.
It doesn’t help, support or guide.
It’s just another layer of noise in a market where everyone’s shouting to be heard.
Now If I’m entirely frank I’ve probably been occasionally guilty of just adding another layer of noise to the market.
But on the whole the aim is to deliver comment which adds value, content which is useful and articles which engage debate. As I’ve always said I don’t always succeed…..but that’s always the goal!
However the press (financial, mainstream or otherwise) isn’t the only place which has loads of ‘noise’.
Auto Enrolment is currently in the same position.
You’ve got a bunch of pension providers all jostling for a share of the market.
Payroll and software providers all saying there software is the best one ever and does everything employers need to do (which isn’t true by the way….there’s no individual piece of software which currently does this)
and
The complexity of regulation (including pension and employment law).
It’s an auto enrolment minefield!
when larger firms had to comply they tended to work with a professional partner to help and guide them through the process.
However professionals by their nature tend to be pretty good value but beyond the budget of many SME employers….
I reckon moving forward there will be three ways of navigating the minefield. Employers get a professional to help. Employers do it themselves….
….and the third way.
The third way is exciting.
The third way is about empowering employers to comply with auto enrolment.
The third way is about giving someone the tools to do the job.
The third was is deliverable, affordable and scaleable with the ability to help thousands of employers drive through the auto enrolment minefield with relative ease….
So instead of adding to the noise we decided to do something different…
We decided to build AE in a Box.
AE in a box does something different.
It guides and empowers SME employers through the minefield of auto enrolment.
It helps them ensure they’re completing the right tasks and making the right decisions every step of the way.
It muffles the noisy world of auto enrolment making it sound as it should.
Clear and Crisp.
We’re massively proud of it and reckon it’ll help sme and micro employers in a big way.
Take a look at it….I’d be interested to know your thoughts.
