How italy is mimicking automatic enrolment and why the UK’s automatic enrolment challenge still remains an issue.
There a plenty of things from Italy I’m pretty fond of…
I’m quite partial to visiting Italy (Florence and Rome I love…although I haven’t managed a trip to the lakes yet)
I love Italian museums and galleries (the Uffizi in Florence is probably my favourite)
and
Let’s not even get started on Italian food (I could be going on forever just on the topic of ‘Gelato’)
However there are somethings which we do in good old blighty which seem to be catching on in other parts of Europe.
It’s interesting this article talks about how certain elements of automatic enrolment are being adopted by our European neighbors (I can still say that after ‘Brexit’ right?)
Now whilst this makes sense, the reality is that to ensure all of the employers in the UK comply we’ve still got a decent amount of work to do.
There still remains hundreds of thousands of employers who need to ensure they comply…so whilst other parts of the world might be copying elements of automatic enrolement the reality is clear…
The job we need to do to help smaller employers comply with automatic enrolment still isn’t done.
At AE in a Box we remain committed to playing our part.
Every day we help employers understand the ‘tasks’ they need to be complete more clearly, go through the process of compliance and ensure that if the regulation changes we keep them up to date every step of the way.
