Complying with Automatic Enrolment will always cost less than Non-Compliance…

There’s more and more research (most recently this piece of research) which confirms that more and more employers are failing to comply successfully with automatic enrolment.

In fact the latest piece of research shows that up to 20% of firms are now falling through the gaps and not complying successfully.

Now the process of complying with automatic enrolment is clear. There’s even a great book about it (apologies for the blatant ‘plug‘)

However if you run a business and want some help with automatic enrolment compliance don’t hesitate to get some…

The reality is that non compliance is a lot more expensive than compliance.

This means that an estimated 20% of employers have chosen a more expensive route for their business.

I’d suggest that, from the position of helping employers large and small comply, that complying and starting the process of planning to comply sooner rather than later makes sense to both your pocket and reputation.

Even if you consider the fact that getting someone good to help you comply successfully will cost you money these costs pale into comparison when you consider the potential of daily cumulative fines and the reputational cost of not complying.

So, if you’re one of the estimated 20% of employers who haven’t complied or are an employer who is tempted to try to ignore the regulation here’s some simple advice.

Get some help, be it from your accountant or an automatic enrolment specialist or your payroll service provider.

Get help…and if you feel we might be able to help feel free to let us know.
